DESTRUCTOR have just completed writing a new song called "The
Steel", which the band plans on recording and releasing on Auburn
Records this summer to support the band's Wacken Open Air and
Headbanger's Open festival appearances. "The concept of
the song is about the first time I heard heavy metal and how it
changed my life as to this is what I wanted to do", comments lead
singer and guitarist Dave Overkill. "Heavy metal still to this
day has kept me faithful". "The Steel" is a mid-tempo,
traditional headbanging anthem guaranteed to please DESTRUCTOR fans.
